I belong to a small family, if I think in common terms, which I have no intentions to do. I have the great pleasure to introduce you to some of my new family members. Say hello to the Apple Tree twins, and to the Orange Tree triplets. As you can see they are not identical twins or triplets.
Starting with the Apple Tree twins; one is tall and slim, while his sister is more of the short and chubby type. What the Orange Tree triplets concerns it is still a bit early to tell. One starts to grow in an immense speed, then takes a rest to let her brother pass by.
So what is this talk about family roots? A plant is a plant and definitely not human. Whoever argue for this as a truth is either insane or ??? Well, I will try to justify my understanding of belonging.
You see, one day this winter I was having an apple. One of the seeds fell out, and I observed that, while being in the uterine so to say, it had started to germinate. I examined this phenomenon closer and found more of the same. With pots and soil within short reach they could continue on their journey to life. Inspired by this I planted orange stones as well, and after a couple of weeks they popped up from the soil, showing their beautiful, deep green leaves to the world.
I ate the apple, and I ate the orange.
These fruits disappeared into my system and left their traces there – doing me good. The Apple Tree twins and the Orange Tree triplets lived in the same fruits, getting all they needed there, leaving lifelong traces in the offspring. I know, eating some ones mother do not make her children my relatives. It is different with fruits though. The mothers of these new kids have given life energy to us all. Do you buy that? Well, I do – kind of. .. You see, I fancy having a large family might be fun!
What is all this talk about «familytrees» and finding ones family «roots» if it is reduced to words. This is reality!
Yes, I know – this is not the way to multiply apple trees. Thinking in terms of quantity and quality grafting is the solution, but what concerns family ties and love I deeply recommend this procedure.
