I just received news from our friends THE UNITED LAMPSHADERS. After the Royal Wedding they decided to extend their stay in London. Their natural born leader May-Thilda reported the following:
Finally a sign of life from London. We have been extremely busy lately. Spending the days together with our new friends is not for the lazy ones. People claiming that the Royal Family has an easy acces to wealth have no idea about reality, and only demonstrate their ignorance to everybody.
By now you probably expect us to be familiar with our new life and occasions like you can see on the pictures, but I assure you – I was actually a bit shaken on the 11th of June when we were all gathered to celebrate our dear queen. Should I shake hands with Elisabeth, with Camilla or simply wave to the people – our audience? After all, they had spent hours waiting to get a glimpse of us on the balcony of the Royal Castle, and I felt we owed them some attention.
Poor Martha, in her eager of getting attention, finding the best show off place, she became trapped in one of the lamps 😉 All right, we are Lampshaders, but I simply think this was to take it a bit too far. And between us, why cannot that woman learn from Elisabeth, to dress up in delicate colours?
Well, this was all by now. Have to hurry for the afternoon tea.
By the way, there were some truly interesting performances with the guards. I will come back with some really interesting pictures later.
Lots of love from
btw, if you wonder what connects this to gardening, take a look at the hats!!! «My home is my castle, my hat is my garden» – with birds and everything you desire.
