Last summer I had a telephone call. A friendly voice was asking me if she could write an article about my garden for Norsk Hagetidend, the magazine of the Norwegian Garden Society. Sounds ok, I thought, but I would have to do some serious cleaning up first. «So, when will this be?» I asked. «What about tomorrow?» she asked. And that is how I met Lisbeth Dreyer. Next day she came walking up the road together with her daughter Eira, and I knew immediately I liked her. I liked them both! Lisbeth is a creative person expressing herself through film, so taking photos from my garden was right in her lane. See by yourself here: http://www.ibisfilm.no/Directors/Lisbeth_Dreyer/
I enjoyed to watch Lisbeth walking around in the garden taking her photos, feeling so familiar with the angels she chose, the details she focused on. Yesterday, when the magazine arrived, it was like King Winter lifted his carpet for a moment, and my summer dreams came true – again.
And of course – everything looks much better in the real magazine than here on the blog.
